Johann Ludwig Bach, called „The Meininger Bach“, was the conductor of the famous Meininger Hofkapelle and a composer in demand during his lifetime. He was only distantly related to Johann Sebastian Bach. However, Johann Sebastian greatly appreciated Ludwig as a musician.
