Pièces et editions de Jacob, Georges (1877-1950)
Georges Jacob was a student of the well-known École Niedermeyer in Paris and there, among others, a student of Alexandre Guilmant. He became a piano teacher at the Schola Cantorum and organist at Notre Dame de la Gare in Paris. Later and until his death at Saint Ferdinand des Ternes. Jacob was a sought-after concert organist and editor of organ literature, such as the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, throughout his life. As a composer, he mainly left organ music, which is still played a lot today.
